turbo 993 tail on 79 pcar
I hate to do this to myself if it's obvious. but will this fit my car. I have a 79 sc getting a turbo w/intercooler. flame on?

Go with MA Shaw or Getty Design (same parts I think), and get a front splitter to balance the car out.
Might look wierd without 993 mirrors...

unless you buy the 993tt tail made specifically for early cars--no, it won`t fit. lf you still have the impact bumpers it will look really weird anyways,l seriously doubt you would like it.

l would either go with what RUF used which was the impact bumper style "tea tray" with the rubber lip OR, the "tea tray" bumper in full fiberglass. There is one other option that would look awesome also and that`s the full fiberglass RS America wing. l have a friend in the business who makes all my body parts, l can get you a sweet deal on any Fglass parts you may need.Post a pic of your car and we`ll go from there...

JMHO..but there are many better looking and more functional aftermarket alternatives, that will look great on your car.

No problem. I am looking to add a front spoiler/splitter and replace my rear bumpers...so many choices.

you can still go stealth with the car,intercooler or not. l`ve seen several turbo cars with intercoolers and a ducktail or no tail at all. You have to really want the look and if you do there are ways to configure your system to have even a full bay cooler tucked back under the lid...
post a "pics wanted" , l know there are some cars on here with the stealth set-up..
