headers leaking

Hi

I have a pair of b&b headers with the heat boxes that are leaking.

However, i can not see an visual leaks. So my question is can they be leaking inside the heater box? I am thinking about cutting out the heater box to see but before i do i wanted to check if it is even possible to leak in there.. any welds in there that may crack or is it all one pipe?

also, is there a special method to use to check for leaks?.. I am thinking of just feeling up the header with water?

thanks in advance

Sometimes they can leak where the heater box got welded to the pipes/tubing.
