I am thinking either a k-27 Hiflow, k29, or maybe a garret 30 or 35r.
The k29 or gt35r will have a little lag, but will pull verry hard up top. But for your purposes , there are other k27 varients that could suit your needs- A good person to ask is Craig

For street use, I'd highly recommend the GT30R, however, you'd need to do some modifications to make it fit. It's not a 100% drop in replacement.

use 70% street and 30 track , the idea is to replace without modifications. |

I carry the K27 line but can help with Garrett as well.
The K27 is closer to a bolt-on and comes in a variety of configurations to suit your application. If you list your engine mods, driving style and the desired characteristics a turbo can be matched. For example, is your engine CIS or EFI and what does "a lot of power" mean to you, and where do you want that power to come on.

Which K27 do you currently have?
I would be interested in buying the one you have if it is in good condition. Sorry I didn't exactly answer your main question, but see Brian (RarelyL8) for your turbo upgrading needs.

Great, let me know if you decide to sell it. I am trying to put together a kit to turbo my SC.
Thanks!

I've run a K27-7200 before... trust me, it will run out of steam on the track. At the very least, go with a K27HF-S if you want a drop in upgrade that will still be useful in the upper RPM band.

You want to make the RIGHT choice now, instead of swapping out the turbo again when you realise you made the wrong choice
