GT3 Exhaust - Teaser Pics
LOTS of R&D stuff going on right now. Thought I would share a couple of picture from this evening's entertainment. This project has been on the books for over a year and a half, looks like I may have it ready for production in a couple of weeks.
Huge props to Ben and M&K for their welding skills. Always consistent and never any slag. The concept is simple: replace the center outlet tailpipe with a dual outlet tip. My exhaust systems are modular which means you can mix and match everything without purchasing an entire new muffler. There are currently 5 tailpipe and 3 waste gate configurations. ![]() ![]()

But yours are dual turbos ...
Yes, dual 3". I need to trim back the 90 and add length to the tips for aesthetics. Will be done then. Should have that done this week so rear pix by weekend.

Brian - is that an O2 bung I see on the pressure side of the turbo flange?

NGK recommends not to put their O2 sensor upstream to the turbo (they don't like the positive pressure). This is why I mounted mine about 6in from the turbine. What O2 are you recommending with this setup?
Also, do you know of any good twin turbo header builders? Marco Manzie is impossible to contact. |

most factory turbos have the o2 before the turbo as to headers you may look at adapting 993 turbo headers

Don if I were going twins I would take a serious look at the factory 993tt exchangers.

Kinda of off topic, but maybe not when you think about.
![]() Are the 996TT exh ports center-to-center dimensions the same as the 993TT? I know they used the same case, well almost anyway. I was wondering if it would another case of "flange flipping" to get these to work on earlier exhaust ports.

Don, you have to flip the flanges just like the 993 N/A exchangers.
The only drawback that I could see was that the passenger's side turbo interfered with the 930 oil tank. You would need to modify the oil tank or relocate it a-la 965. I don't recall the size of the primaries but those exchangers will support big power. You gotta love the packaging combined with real heat and OEM quality. Worthy consideration.
