Transporter

Can anyone recommend a closed trailer commercial auto transporter? Need to get car cross country on a truck but do not want to deal with brokers. Any input appreciated.

Eldon you can call intercity and pay through the nose or you can call Vitaly at Auto Move It Transport, he is a great guy and I use him to transport everthing from our new CJD products to my father-in-laws Phantom. Good luck.

I used exotic car transporters and they did a great job. The truck driver would call me on the road to tell me where he was. Very cool.

Vitaly Vingert 888-271-1328 phone, 540-234-0520 fax. Website is www.automoveit.com
when you have a schedule delivery they get it done. I also like Don Ferris at Specialty Mobile Transport 800-789-5250, www.specialtyautotransport.com
I am a new car dealer and it is important to get the car there when you promise it and while the list goes on and on for transporters there are only a handful that are really worth their billing. For what it is worth I used Intercity in the past and they often over promise and under deliver, the drivers have always been very careful but their dispatcher treats you like another number and what you mean you don't have a Carrera GT.

They are great, but pricey. I just got quoted from Ft Lauderdale from Intercity $1695 and 2 weeks to Milwaukee. Fed EX who are supposed to be really high was $1400 within 7 days. Both were pretty high but I had to get it loaded the same day as the purchase day so those were my only choices..........................SCHNELE, thanks for your contacts, I will put them on my list to call. Generally if I can't get someone from my numbers I call Dave @ Transport Masters and pay his fee. He is a reliable broker with quality rig owners ( even small personal enclosed for the really fussy moves ) to contact and hauls for some highly recognizable clients.561-482-7789
