hi
Is there any way to test the function of the oil cooler fan? What temp or where on the gauge would the fan turn on? I'm not over heating but I am wondering if it's working. Thanks for the help. |

The connection to the fan is activated by a thermal switch on the oil cooler at the top front. If you pull the wire and ground it, the fan will start up.
I want to say it starts to work at about 230* but it's been awhile. |

Probably right at 230 which is way too warm to start working in my opinion.
If it fails to work as tested, you can replace it with an adjustable T-stat that you set yourself. Elephant racing sells them. It ranges from 160 degrees f to 230 or so. I would set it to come on at 200-210 degrees to help keep temps more in line.
