For what?

Dragracing? Lawnmowing? Track racing?

If straight motion is desired, spool is probably the best solution. For track duty, I would pick clutch-type diff which locks 100% on braking and some percentage of that on accelleration. For tight corner and AutoX I would probably choose Quaife/Torsen...

yes for Lawnmowing

I had a spool and hated it ,I need something that will handle the power and abuse but that is more civilize for drag racing

Guard makes two types..

Call him and find out which is best for you..knowing how you use your 911.. I think you want total lock on accel.. but you want to be able to drive the car without the inside wheel skipping and dragging...

I imagine a clutch type at 100/40 for drag racing...Though the torsens supposedly deliver 100% on accel.. interesting question..

That's exactly what I need, I have the Guard spool but is a Pita on the other hand I need something that will deliver on demand, my crew is suggesting a OS Giken LSD

OS Giken utilized its accumulated racing knowledge and engineering experience to develop its own limited slip differential. Four years of extensive research and development lead to a new and revolutionary LSD design with the capacity to house an unprecedented number of friction plates (up to 28 plates in total) and thus the OS Super Lock LSD was born.

The increased number of plates directly has not only dramatically improved our LSD design's locking force and enables it to lock fully and completely. An added benefit to being a fully locking mechanism is that less heat is generated, thus resulting in incredible durability and reliability.

As expected from OS Giken, the LSDs are not only made from the highest quality materials, our precise machining, forged gears, and sound engineering makes our LSDs the most durable and reliable race performance LSDs available.

In addition, the design allows for the initial torque setting and lock timing to be customized to best fit you vehicle's everchanging set-up and course/road conditions. (Limited to Spec-X LSDs only)

Juan,

You may want to consider the Torsen or torque biasing diff... from what I know..It will apply 100% lock up on hard accel... and will unlock and let you drive around the pits or streets without dragging and skip skip skipping that inside wheel.....

Talk to Guard.. I'm not familiar with drag racing at all..
