Watkins Glen Vintage Fest 9/11 weakend - Bueller?

Bombing ze 930 out with some great buds to camp the infield for WG Vintage Fest 9/11 weekend - any yous here going / wanna meet up?

I'd been to LRP Vintage Fest every year for years. Son's sat in more Bugatti's than I, the bum!

But took me TR3 out to Watkins Glen's VF last year (Triumph was featured marque so we got some special concessions - 100car pohleece condoned 20mi caravan with intersection wave-thrus, on the way to hotlaps of both the current and historic circuts):

WGVF exposed to 17 whole new levels of Awesome to me. AWESOME time there. Hope to meet some youses. We'll be there. LMK. One of my wrench-friends (Musante) is running, figure I'll go heckle them.

Porsche Content - downtown street scene Fri pm - no open container law and yes allllllll the racecars are _driven_ there... *wicked*... I was like JoJo the Idiot Circus Boy, stumbling for composure amongst all there was to behold:

(the ^^^Red 930^^^ - or 911wide, I didn't look - was uber... full Pirate motif on it and paddock area and tow rig and trailer...BEYOND hilarious)

I'll be there Fri and Sat. Doing the Red Newt Cellars Founders tour. Hope to catch some racing on Sat. I'll be in a Red 930 w/ Fikse wheels, my buddy has a Cobra and my other buddy a Miata. Make sure you say Hi! (usually hiding in the Micro Brew bar!)
