Help - Where Do These Hoses Go?

This evening I removed the intercooler on my 88 930 and found a few disconnected hoses, a cork plug and a loose wire in various areas of the engine. I need some help in determining where the hoses should go and more importantly, what the effect is on the engine performance with them disconnected as they are now. I'm guessing that some of them might have been disconnected in order to pass California emissions testing, but that's just a guess. Anyway, here they are. Any help very much appreciated!

Loose Hose #1 - Has a screw inserted in the loose end.

Loose Hose #2 - Also has a screw inserted in the loose end.

Loose Hose #3

Cork Inserted in Air Filter Housing. Why? Also, looks like a loose ground wire?

See hose slipped off, but not sure if done on purpose or just slipped off?

Should A Hose Be Connected to this Inlet Under Air Filter Housing?

Those are all the areas I could find that looked like possible contributors to my hesitation problem. Or maybe they are just disconnected for a reason. My engine has some modifications from stock. K27 turbocharger, not sure what model number , but here are a couple photos of it:

Also I have a GHL exhaust and twin plug ignition.

73ess,

I'm down in Campbell, and have completely removed all my smog plumbing, as well as my vacuum limiter and AAR. Let me know if I can help!
Without this clutter my engine compartment is just wonderfully uncluttered. I can remove my spark plugs completely unimpeded! Without the vac-lim I get nice burble off-throttle. Without the AAR I have to tend to the throttle for the first 30-sec after I start it cold (otherwise it'll idle at 600rpm, not good on cold oil IMHO). But none of this crap is missed.
I removed so much crap, and WEIGHT, from my engine bay I had to re-lower the rear end!

Sorry for the broken photo links. They are working now.

Loose Hose #2 - Also has a screw inserted in the loose end. I think this goes to the timed switch near the breather cover.

Loose Hose #3 This is a vent. It's OK.

Cork Inserted in Air Filter Housing. Why? Capped off when the new intercooler was installed. Cap it off properly.

Also, looks like a loose ground wire? Probably from grounding the overboost switch.

See hose slipped off, but not sure if done on purpose or just slipped off? Should be connected or you can remove all those hoses and solinoids.

Should A Hose Be Connected to this Inlet Under Air Filter Housing? Should be the hose from the WUR vent below.

What Is the Red Thingee and Should a Wire Be Connected to the Second Terminal? Overboost switch. I don't recall that it needs a ground.

Looks like it might be a K27-7006.

Also I have a GHL exhaust and twin plug ignition. Are you sure it's twin plugged? I only see six plug wires (and they are looking tired:( ).

A930Rocket,

Thanks for your reply. Here are my responses in red, to some of your responses:

Can you describe what the timed switch looks like? Also, what does the breather cover look like?

Who sells the proper cap?

Yep, it's definitely twin plugged.

Who sells the proper cap? Best bet would be too measure it and go to a auto parts or hardware store to find a rubber cap that you can clamp off or use a plastic tie. That would look best, but you could find a short length of hose and clamp a short bolt in there to plug it.

Yep, it's definitely twin plugged.

You're a lucky man. Is that a 12 lead dizzy cap? That's worth a lot of money if it is.

I believe it is the highlighted part in this image. The breather cover is part number 34 on the diagram.

As long as no unfiltered air is getting into that hole the cap is proper.
