Intercooler replacement (?)

Has anyone tried one of these on a 930?

There was a longer thread on these a while back, can't seem to find it now but when i do i'll post a link.

I'd also like to hear any info on a non-intercooled application (76 turbo). I'd like to see what others think of using this as the sole intercooler on an early car.

May be a good design but it adds the complexity of a stand-alone liquid to air system to an air cooled engine. There will be an additional radiator somewhere.

The concept is good though. What do you think of these:

Cemal - externally and internally finned tubes
