Lsd?
This may seem basic, but on a 78 930, how do i determine
limited slip, yes or no? Kinda seems like a turbo would automatically come with a limited slip diff. Thanks, jp |

If I remember correctly, spin one of the rear wheels. If the other wheel spins the same direction you have LSD. If it spins opposite you don't.

Lift the back of the car. Select neutral. Spin one of the wheels. If other wheel spins in same direction, you have LSD.
Unfortunately, LSD was option even on 930's.

My 79 930 was a non-lsd. My 86, 87 and 91 were all lsd.

The spin the wheel technique might give false info if a Quaife was put in there. Those spin like a open differential when dong this test, if I recall correctly.
