under bumper valence needed
I think I need to mount a front cooler to keep my temps in proper check. So, I'll also need a new front valence to accomodate this, but I really don't like the "cap" style that fully cover the bumpers. There's something about that squared off bumper that I like. When I first bought this '79 930 3 years ago, I clearly recall seeing quite a few fiberglass valences with front cooler cutouts that just went under the existing bumper. I just searched Getty/MA Shaw/TRE and didn't see anything like this, only the full cap-type bumpers. Finally, I saw what I was looking for at GT-Racing. http://www.gt-racing.com/pdfs/GTR911.pdf page 11, part#48.
A Pelican search on opinions of GT Racing quality is variable. Anyone have other sources for me to look into? (Ruf is out, I can't justify the expense) I do keep an eye out for used stuff, but I haven't had much luck. Thanks!
