WTB: 3.0 TURBO pressure plate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am putting a 1987 3.3L on a 1977 930 tranny and need the shallower pressure plate. They seem to only be available for 1976 and 1977 model 930's. Good working condition will be appreciated. I don't necessarily need the disk or flywheel, but will entertain any suggestions. Thanks, Drew |

I have a pressure plate in the garage somewhere that might be what you need. I bought it as a spare but when I got it I found it was smaller than mine. I kept it for some reason. I'm not sure if the one I have is what you need, heck I not even sure it's a turbo PP but I was told it was. I can dig it out and maybe someone can verify it.

If you end up needing an 87 year type PP, let me know. I have one with about 10k miles on it.

Mark,
I'm not 100% but I think that is a 225mm 3.0SC or 3.2 flywheel and clutch. I think the turbo pressure plate is 240mm. Thanks for the effort!!!!!!!!!! Drew |

I wasn't sure it was a turbo plate but I was hoping someone would clarify. Sorry I couldn't help. I know it's smaller than my 3.3 plate.

Bump.
Still looking....Nothing out there? Sachs says it will take 10-14 days to make one plus shipping time. Getting anxious. Sun is shining. |
