Voltage Regulator Question
Looking at the pelican parts list would suggest (unless I'm wrong) that the voltage regulator on my '88 930 is attached to the alternator. Is this right or am I misreading the part description? Part picture doesn't appear to be the until that is positioned next the to the CDI box which is where I had been assuming it would reside.
Thanks,

That is correct. It is in the alternator. The early cars had an external one near the CD box.
