What is everyone paying for insurance?

My renewal is up on my insurance for my '86 930. I am with Hagerty's and pay around $500/yr. I wanted to check to see if this is still competitive? Any recommendations?

With State Farm, I pay just a little over $500 a year for the 930.

I've priced everyone and each time State Farm comes out cheaper in SC. Others seem to get it cheaper. Maybe a individual/state by state deal?

Roughly 450 a year with American Collectors. I had the 951 on that policy, and when I added the 930 the declared value of the car went way up, while the premium went down slightly .

Lot's of variables. Mine is a declared value policy, the city you live in, the limits, coverages and deductible, how the vehicle is stored, miles per year or a mile limit....... This is not a real apples to apples thread!

I pay $400/year for agreed value of $30K for 3K miles through Sneed Insurance Agency with American Modern Insurance. What's cool about them is that they offer variety of mileage restrictions, I think, up to 10K miles and also what they call "9 to 5" coverage that allows you to drive to work few times a week. I didn't find this kind of flexibility with anyone else.

I pay about $550 a year with Farmers. They made me get the car appraised and the appraiser appraised it at only $24K. I guess I could find it cheaper, but I'd risk losing my umbrella policy.

I think I'm paying around $375 with Farmers, but not for a declared value policy. I'm not even sure they offer one.

Most of the big guys do not offer declared value. Not their deal.

Geeze, I'm paying 350.00, every 3 month! Thats the privilege of living in Canada.
Going to try to get collectors next year, but don't know if I'll qualify.

I think everyone needs to understand that "declared or stated value" is not the same as "agreed value".

If something happens to your car, there is no argument with "agreed value", it is what it is.
That is not the case with "declared or stated value", the insurance company can say "well, that stated value was couple of years ago, ah, we think it's now worth $x because of..."

This is what I was told.
