74 911 -87 930

OK It has been a few months or so but I have found a 74 911 with a wide body kit to use as my doner car for the 87 930 turbo engine/tranny/trailing arms, suspension, hoses, tubes, wiring , glass, interior, swap. So If you have any pics, information, articles or sources to help me out on this it would be great. Mostly what I need to know are the road blocks or things that are not common for the swap. Is it better to use a 930 4 spd or the G50? I want to take everything from the 87 and put it into the 74. Essentially I would like to strip the 87 down to bare chassis and then install it onto the 74. What can you offer to help me to this end? Thanks for your time.

How is this project going?

I'm thinking of doing the same and am wondering what surprises will be encountered.
