lift
Does this look about right for lifting? I used thick heavy rubber pads (stall pads cut down) along with a wooden block in the rear to space it so as not to crush the a/c lines or more importantly the oil line.
It seems to lift just fine, just thought I would post to see if anyone has any hands on experience lifting a 911 with this type of lift.

I have a 2 post asymetric lift and use a wood block under the spring plate splines on the rear and a wood spacer on the front much like what you'r doing. I have the boxed rockers which complicate using a swing arm hoist but the blocks and spacers make it work.
Same set-up also works for the 911 and 356. Hoists are great tools. |
