930 on the auction block
My good buddy called me this am, and said one is going on the block tomorrow am. Fuch, I need a break from work anyhow, I am going take my check book and go have a look just for giggles. I have to bag a customer in the morning, and will have to pull my kid out of pre-school for the day to make it happen, but who knows, it may be worth it. My kid will probably learn more hanging out with me , my dad, the local tow truck driver and a bunch of dealers than he would in 2.5 hours of pre-school anyhow. Wish me luck, I will keep you posted!

I could not go, but I had my buddy go and bid for me. There were no pictures available untill the night before the auction, and this car was a bank repo, and was cleaned of some of its valuables . It was missing the engine lid/ spoiler, wheels, calipers, headlights, all of the turn signal/ brake light lenses, carpets, and door handles. He was not even able to open up the doors, could not start the car , or try to move it. It had 24,000 miles on the odo, but was TMU. My high number on this car was 7k. It brought 11.5k on an internet bid . Buyer was from Texas. He said the car actually looked pretty clean and rust free, just missing a bunch of parts, and drivetrrain condition completely unknown. The auction was at adessa in Mercer Pa. I am not a dealer, but you do not hear of too many of these cars going through the regular auctions. I was curious to see what kind of numbers it would fetch. I am sort of relieved, as the last thing I need right now is another 930 project, but at 7k , would have been a good buy .
