Chris,
I think I may have spoke with you earlier this year about a possible Carrera type hydraulic set up on my 930...I have the RUF 5-speed. Heard about you from Lincoln Philips here in Michigan. Do I have it right?

The Sachs Sport -594 (aka Ruf) pressure plate will handle all the torque a typically modified CIS-injected 930 can make.
#88.3082.999.594 = 3.0L-STLYE 930 SPORT ALUMINUM PRESSURE PLATE Approx. 11.0lb, 13.6lb with bearing & extension (vs. 25.4lb stock iron part) Clamping = 11,100 - 12,200 N Torque rating = 465Nm organic (ex: original 930 disc) 540Nm special organic 595Nm sintered plate Yes, now I remember our conversation. We could convert that 930 4-speed to a hydraulic operated clutch. Pedal effort could be as light as you need it -- effortless like a 993T or Honda Civic, for example.

Chris,
Wanted to get the basics all done to see if that cured the problem. I now have a new clutch cable, rebuilt pedal cluster. Gonna try and lube the Guide tube through the inspection hole to see if this takes the pressure off. Clutch is old, maybe 8 years, but has only about 12,000 milles on her. I don't know if they simply get stiff from age alone. If this doesn't work I'll replace the clutch here in the next month or so after talking to you and getting your input on what to get. If this is a bust, it goes off to you for the ultimate mod to make this car enjoyable for everyday driving. Thanks Pelican for this forum!! Thanks Chris!
