Maybe you can help me. :) Regards John http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1303540749.jpg |

I had the same question when redoing my suspension:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/559738-front-strut-install-use-big-spacer-doughnut-not.html That spacer is to increase ride height and I believe was only used in USA models (is yours a USA model?) General consensus is to take it out if you have one anyway so you should be fine. |
Take it out. It is only to meet stupid US DOT regs. It makes the car look weird and handle worse.

Thanks for your reply, now I can sleep peacefully. :)
Regards John |
yup, ditch it.
Those were put in usa bound cars to raise the front of the car and the bumper higher and supposedly match the bumper hight of other cars sold here. Seventies BMW's had something similar too. |
