Need help, intercooler for carrera manifold with flipped throttle body

Just as the title says, I need help on figuring out an IC solution for my EFI project: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/583599-my-efi-project.html

I'm really to the point where I can't go back and change IM's and I don't have a lot left in the budget for this project. What I have to work with is a blown six half bay long neck IC, I wouldn't be adverse to selling my B6 IC if there is a close to plug and play solution. I'd also be interested in any modifications that could be made to my IC to accommodate the taller IM and slightly larger TB. I'm on the home stretch here and would love to here from people that have made this happen, or can help me make it happen.

Thanks in advance

It's hard to visualize a solution without seeing what you have to work with. Can you mount the intercooler to show how far off the alignment is? Maybe remove the TB to make room for trial fitting.

I have the same setup and ended up having Bell fabricate up a custom one for me. The "Supercharged race build" thread shows how I did it, using Hargett QDCs for connections.

Hey Steve-

I replied in your "EFI" thread too - if it would help you and work for me, I'd trade you my Garretson SN. It's off the car right now anyway 8-/. You're welcome to swing by and grab it if you want to check out fitament options, etc. I won't need it until at least the end of the week.

I'm dying to scrap my OE BPV. Call me if you'd like 860.490.9808... I'm home all day.

no go on your IC Paul, looks like mine would be easier to modify. Thanks for letting me try though, when should I drop yours off?

Damn, that's a bummer - was hoping that'd made it easier for you. Ah well, least you ruled it out and w/ little effort.

Sorry I missed your call earlier today, phone was inside when we were out in the garage. I just got the msg 8-/.

I'm out of town tomorrow / Tue but you can swing it by Wed night or so if that works for you.
