What is this and is it missing a piece?
 

I noticed this box at the forward end of the rear passenger side wheel well at the top. It seams like it is missing a part as it is open and it does not seem right...
I tried searching on the forum but I did not find anything...
I am not sure if the fact that it is open like that has an impact on the car.
