1983 911sc Seat Piping
a bit of restoration weekend work. Took out both seats to replace shift coupler, shifter and shift rod bushings. Decided to install new Accelerator cable bushings and add a little flava to my seat but dye sats piping. Decided to do it myself since I didn't know proper upholdstry shop I can trust and save myself some cash.
Bought Angelus dye for about $8bucks and went to work: Remove seats Scotch guard seat from piping, took to most time, 3hrs. You have to be careful to get it right or you'll end up with paint on ur seats. Use 4 cue tips. Stat dyeing, take care to avoid spills. Let dye sit in over night. Remove scotch guard. Looks great.
