A bit of a departure, but nice...

Check this out:
Porsche : 911 Porsche : 911 - eBay (item 300684380296 end time Apr-01-12 20:17:13 PDT)
Not a 930 but a rather nice conversion to American muscle car standards. Money didn't appear to be an obstical. I bet she positively snorts down the road. You can have her with no title and just a bill of sale on a slow boat from Japan.

YOU'RE EITHER A 930 GUY OR YOU'RE NOT
THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN

Cole

Not sure it will fetch as much as the seller is thinking.

M5guy 03-29-2012 11:48 AM

I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to do some time in it at VIR....

mark houghton 03-29-2012 11:49 AM

So true Cole, so true. I would never allow such a conversion to grace my presence, but I can still respect what looks like good craftsmanship - such as the work you've been doing with a real 930!

Richard930 03-29-2012 11:54 AM

With a proper engine that would be a very nice car. Somebody dropped a boatload of money on it (though I guess a Chev crate motor would be a fraction of the price of a nicely built 930 engine)!

In the interest of humor, Cole, I am going to grammar-nazi you: the version of "your" that you used is incorrect - in your sentence you need "you're" (combination of you and are) not "your" which indicates ownership! No charge for the lesson! :p

I may punctuation-nazi you (maybe? :)).

Shouldn't you use a ";" instead of a ":" after, "I am going to gammar-nazi you..............."?

":" is for lists like 1, 2, 3, etc., and ";" is for an addition to or adding an additional subject to a sentence, correct? Dunno :)

Not even close. I'd be surprised if they get an opening bid. Cool car though...

Ronnie's.930 03-29-2012 01:57 PM

That's awesome Tippy! I figured someone would bust by ass on something in my post! Ha!

I don't even know why I used a colon there (maybe because I was being an ass?)!

cole930 03-29-2012 02:07 PM

I was just going to use "y'all is" but I was trying to sound "soffsisicated"

Thanks !!!! Edited, your parents should have taught you not to make
fun of old people.

Cole

Ronnie's.930 03-29-2012 02:12 PM

Cole, I hate to tell you, but the same goes for the second "your" in your sentence! Ha!

Cole

hehe :D:D:D
Hell, I use "your" all the time.

icemann427 03-29-2012 02:32 PM

Well, Grammar Nazi Ronnie could use either one. However, since he chose to use a colon he should have double spaced after the colon. As well, the "the" should have been capitalized. ;)

Ronnie's.930 03-29-2012 02:34 PM

Ha - you guys are a bunch of colons! :p

icemann427 03-29-2012 02:43 PM

Well, next time you right in this forum, Ronnie, make sure it is write...lol

mark houghton 03-29-2012 03:28 PM

My oh my, what my innocent post has started!!! And we're (we are) all considered educated "done-passed-the-3rd-grade" kind of people.

We all need to live within closer proximity of each other, as this is quickly degrading to a biker bar, starting with beer and moving to sour mash shooters. A seasoned Grammar Nazi could have a hay-day as tounges became swollen with booze.

Good to have a little diversion from the normal Friday afternoon drizzle on the forum.

clutch-monkey 03-29-2012 03:34 PM

i do like Ls7's.. just not in a 911 haha

IMR-Merlin 03-29-2012 04:22 PM

Reminds me of the guy I got me engine from. I think he's almost done his LS7 car.
