Tires for 10x16's....yeah I know...
 

Against the better judgement of my mechanic I just picked up a set of 10x8x16 BBS wheels for my '86 930....now of course I have to shut him up by finding some tires!

From reading many of the posts on this board I realize that I may need to shop for these in Europe, but fortunately I have some connections there so....any recommendations for what to put on the 10" rears?

265/45 Kumhos will fit perfectly.

Thanks...makes for interesting reading; half way through the thread it looks like there are no more available...yet another disappearing 16" tire....but as it turns out they are now plentiful and combined with the 225/50/16 it makes a very cost effective solution....I really appreciate the tip Wayne.

Do you have a source for those tires?

I am hoping so, ordered 2 x 265/45/16 and 2 x 225/50/16 from Tirediscounters on eBay - great pricing + claimed to have more than 10 in stock + 100% rating - so am now waiting for delivery. eBay says they have shipped but have not been able to get tracking info from them...am cautiously optimistic.

Should be no problem, I ordered 2 sets from them and they arrived on time. One set I used on 10"& 8" BBS wheels. They fit just right.

Just got the tracking info so looking good.....

Tires showed up....life is good
