Hi Miguel yes just going through the shifting components replacing worn out couplers and o yea while im here throw in a short shift kit. I am waiting for Geoffrey Ring to bring back some parts and the motor will be running on the twin ignition hopefully soon!

Not to steal your thread but, I’ve been thinking of getting a Wevo for my 930 and have a question as well. What your opinion or preference on the height, tall or short knob?

LOWFAT 04-06-2012 07:54 AM

The console is held on by a couple of screws, just get in there with a light and you should find them pretty easy.If I remember it's only 4, two in front two in back. The electronics just unplug after you have the console loose and removed from the tunnel.Remove the shift knob and boot before removing the console(sorry this should be step one).Make sure you put the trans back in first gear after removing the console before removing the shifter.Get to this point and and we'll get you through the next steps.

John,

Is your rebuild finished?

Your car back on the road?

citrus 04-07-2012 07:00 PM

yes rebuild is finished waiting for tuner Geoffrey to make some ecu adjustments and engine is wired and ready to be run on the twin plugs . So no car has not hit the road yet but engine ran on old ignition system . No oil leaks yea ! Maybe next week
