Oil dipstick quick questin

Is the oil dipstic on ALL 930s located inside the oil filler tube? I have an 84 and its there but i have a 91 with a 3.3 l turbo engine transplant but the dipstick is separate little tube on its own that disappears into the rear passenger side wheel well area. The filler tube doesnt even have a place in it for a dipstick........
Thank you

Car is a 91 regular 3.6 cabrio that was later converted by PO to a supposedly 1989 turbo engine

How do i know the year of the engine
Thanks!!!

the oil reservoir on the '91 is in a different spot to the 930's and other earlier 911's, it is just forward of the rear wheel well that is why it has a dipstick through there.
it is to do with the car not the engine, so i'd say yes the 930's would have them in the oil filler tube (my '78SC does; my 965 has it in wheel well)

Thanks! I was worried something wasnt right and maybe I was going to get inaccurate oil level readings. Thank you!
