specifically looking pop-up motor wiring from the motor, to the control relay, to the headlight switch.

Well i wish I knew what fixed it but I don’t? On the slant you have a 4 pin plug that goes into the side of the motor. It has a gray, a brown, red with yellow tracer and a looped end on it. We traced it back to the fuses and the red just ties into any circuit that takes power when the key is on and the gray goes into the light circuit, low high beam did not matter. The yellow wire up by the headlight switch is the kicker. If you connect that into the normal other yellow wire that is up there it works but when you switch from high beam to low beam the buckets on the slant close. When you disconnect it and run it through the high low flash on headlight switch it works. Now before I did this I had it hooked up the same way and the headlights would dim with the rheostat on the switch? We did not change any wires around we just traced everything down to make sure its all to the factory spots and they were. After about 7 hours of tracing and reconnecting we put it all back together and it works perfect? still have a hot wire that appears to be coming from the steering wheel stock that has no home, and a plastic female connector with no home but everything is working as it should?

We did the headlight relay thing last and I want to say thanks for Gerrys drawing as it made it much simpler, we also did the dash light fusing. All lights are much brighter and I bet the headlights doubled in brightness. now onto the muffler and the dyno.

Good luck
How do you do the dash fusing to brighten the lights?
