Mine almost caught fire on the weekend so that's too hot.
That inspired me to finally re-wire the fuel pumps so each relay has it's own fuse, and now the relays only get mildly warm. Now I need to understand if I've got a real problem with one or both of the pump that needs dealing with, or if I'm OK going forward. Been reading lots of threads but haven't come to any real conclusions yet.

You can diagnose that yourself.
Remove the fuse and connect a digital ammeter in place of it, then you will see how much current each pump is drawing. |

Yep - project for this weekend. No other symptoms are present; AFRs are fine and the car runs perfectly so we'll see...
