Hi fellows
As you know I am in the middle of the rework of my car and so I make my thoughts about the fuel system. Do you guys with both stock pumps using with the EFI left the stock check valve at the front pump or removed it? And if removed, any differences when starting? Please share your set-up with me

With my setup I made no changes other than to remove the accumulator and to re plumb the lines in the engine bay to incorporate the new injectors, adjustable pressure valve, and pressure gauge tap.

Thanks guys
It looks like staying with the check valve is the way to go. Did you stayed with on recommendation or what reason? Wonder if anyone tried without... Maybe I have to make an aluminum version as drilling is a bad idea

The accu is nothing more than a shock absorber. I guess it could stay but not sure of it's flow potential for high horsepower

You can eave the check valve in at the front pump and loose the accumulator. No reason to leave it in. It is in place to keep the control pressure resting in the CIS head to aid in not vapor locking and leaving you stranded. EFI will not have that problem and is not necessary. You also don't have to use the front check valve but it is not hurting anything and keeps the pumps primed.

Accumulator has gone since converted to EFI. There is another check valve, which is inside the pump, so I remove the front one for a try if there is any difference. Unfortunatly I can not test earlier than next spring, as you know my car is knocked down

Shouldn't make much of a difference. You should be able to set the pump prime time in the program.
