Logging exhaust back pressure
Well, winter found me with only the clutch to replace so I have filled some of the void by building one of Jean Belanger's IOx boxes (I/O Extender Board v1.0 for M2/Extra) with the added logger board which gives me 3-axis accelerometer, real time GPS, 8 generic sensor inputs, and some spare outputs. So, I have added a bunch of temperature sensors to the car to help understand the heat soak issue I am having and in addition I find myself with a spare 3 bar MAP sensor to play with. I am toying with the idea of installing it in the engine bay to monitor exhaust back pressure and other things like intercooler efficiency. I am running Fabspeed headers with one of Brian's mufflers and the O2 sensor is in the pipe after the muffler so the port just before the turbo is available. I already have an adapter for the bung to 1/8" NPT used previously for EGT monitoring.
Anyone have any experience building/routing a setup for this to isolate the temperatures and pressure fluctuations?

I used a gismo made for my bike (for throttle adjustment with gunson gas analyser) that has about 20in copper spiral to loose heat and then just rubber hose to my MAP sensor that was connected to my LM-2.

Thanks for the photo. I'll see if I can replicate something similar.
