Will a 10 and 12" wide wheel fit a 930?
Just picked up a set of Fikse wheels. I thought they were 9's and 10's. They measure 10 and 12. Will they fit? If so what size tires will I need?
18" wheels Thanks guys

Wide Body
As far as tire size needed, probably 255 and 315. That's what I run on my 10x17, 12x17 Fikse's. Fitment might depend on the offset. My flares are about 2" wider than the turbo flares.

camdon the width of the wheels are from tire bead to tire bead, not wheel edge to edge. so you may very well have 9 & 10s.

In that case I think you are right. I thought you measure outside to outside. Here are some pictures I just took. Thoughts? ![]()

If they are in fact 9's and 10's what is the best tire set up to go with? I don't want the sidewall too big, correct?

Thanks Phillip
Guess I need to figure out what size they really are first ![]() Then what tires sizes. Don't want too much of a sidewall

Wheel width fitment is only part of the package, how well they fit depends on ET and tire size. 10's & 12's will fit if spaced properly with appropriately sized tires.
Your 9's & 10.5's should fit easily if spaced correctly. For tires I would go with 255/40-18 and 285/35-18 but other sizes will fit as well. As a contrast I modified a set of 3pc wheels to fill up every last mm of space available in the rear. Final result was a 12.75" width (13.25" if measured outer lip to outer lip). This only worked with perfect spacing and a tire size.

255/40/17 in front on one 930, that certainly has to affect(touch) the inside wing and the inside of the passage of wheel when we turn wheels! Otherwise I would put four well tires Sport Cup 2 in 255/40/17 on my wheel rims RUF, they make 9 " in front and 10 " in the back. In Europe it is now very difficult to find tires in 17 "with the good indication of speeds, we have nevertheless the best pneumatic manufacturer to the world! Only and last solution, pass in 18".

If your 9" front wheels are not spaced properly to allow a 255mm width, or the ride height will not allow a 26.5" height at 255mm width then go down one size to a 235/45-18. Spacing is everything both front and back to give you the look you want with no interference. You have the wheels so put them on (with no tires) in the loaded position and you will know what you have to work with.

RUF advised(recommended) me the ride height of 25.2"(64cm) for of 255/40/17 and 235/45/17. Ideally for of 10 " would be needed 265/40/17 and 9 " 245/40/17. In 18 " that would be 295/30/18 (in 11 ") and 235/40/18 (in 8 " or 8.5"). We can also put of 245/35/18.

Sorry for the confusion, I was addressing the thread author who has 18" wheels.
I mistyped some of the tire size info on an earlier post (late night should not have been on the calculator). Here are some sizes in 18" that would fit a 9" front wheel and 11" rear wheel and remain under 26" tall: 245/35-18 = 9.64"T x 24.75"T 255/35-18 = 10.04"W x 25.02"T 245/40-18 = 9.64"W x 25.72"T 315/30-18 = 12.40"W x 25.44" 285/35-18 = 11.22"W x 25.85"T Here is a picture of a set of 9&11x18 wheels that I ran with the 255/35-18 315/30-18 combo: ![]() Also be aware that tire manufacturers have ZERO truth in advertising when if comes to advertised sizing versus calculated sizing. At the 315mm level I have seen 1.0" variation in width from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Running 255 40's front, 295 35's rear and you might notice my car is a little lower than most, fits well, drives well, looks are for those to individually determined :} ![]()

![]() I am running 225/40/18 up front(going with 235’s with the next set) and 295/30/18 in the rear. 9 & 10in Fikse. I am running a slight spacer in the rears I don’t remember off hand what size. My rims had a serial # engraved in them and I called Fikse and they gave me tire sizes that would fit the rims and the car. Good luck!

Fiske won't give you any info that isn't already listed here. YOU have to decide how tall and wide you want the tires based on what look you are after. The limitations are ride height and offset, both of which only you will know as you have the car and the wheels.
