Highest Mileage on odo

I also posted this on the RL 964T forum - but curious about you guys, too.

I'm a driver kind of guy and what impresses me are cars that get used.

There is a guy on the RL 993TT forum that has about 300,000 miles.

I'm at 77,000 now after my 1500 mile road trip a couple weeks ago. The car ran beautifully - just an amazing machine. I know how much you guys like pics so here's one from The Badlands, SD.

So let's hear from you high milers - how many you got?

My odo rolled over 70k recently. Not certain if that is actual miles since I haven't owned the car since new. I was six years old when my car was born.

I got my 930 4 years ago. When I purchased it the odo said 95,000 but was broken so I have no idea what it really is. Odo now reads 126,000.

The 911 has 185000 miles on the odo. Engine is being rebuilt right now.

The Mustang is 2 years old with 26000 miles.

All these miles are driven between myself and my husband.

It's a 1989, w/over 145K miles. One of 28 made for us market. All original paint, and in show condition. Motor redone @ 98k by Eurosports racing to 3,4L, w/Cirillo rods etc. Still on CIS w/472 HP @ crank. Perfect maintainece so still drives like a 50K mile car except for the additional 190hp.

The undisputed reigning champion of mileage is...

... Bill MacEachern with his 1975-built Turbo Carrera:

That's 635,184 kilometers, or 392,089 miles! Photo taken 23 Aug '12 when he stopped in to visit from Canada.

Same gentleman and car profiled in Excellence a while back, also recognized for racing in the Texas Mile.

That's miles - Canada hadn't gone metric when his 930 was delivered. There was a great write up in Excellence last year, or the year before, about him timing his participation in the Texas mile drag event with the car hitting 1,000,000 km (621,371 miles).
