What kind of muffler is this?

Finishing up my engine build. Have learned tons and still learning. I thought I'd keep everything all stock and am doing so for the most part but have decided to remove all the smog stuff as we don't have emissions in my county in Utah. I'm wondering what kind of muffler this is? It has no markings that I could find on it and appears to have a catalytic installed inside it as its quite heavy. Is there any way to test that it still has good flow through it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mooney. Assuming your username is aviation related, is a 265 a Rocket? If so, you have a couple of my favorite Turbos!

I wish 265 was a rocket. Actually, Mooney is my last name and 265 is the store designator of the first restaurant I owned.

Some kind of old baffle muffler with extra support brackets welded on the pipes with some grey primer overspray, dirt, and mild surface corrosion.
Never seen one of those with a catalytic converter in it so I doubt that.

Those heavy old baffle jobs gocheap and can sound pretty good after they've been cut open and all the baffles cut out... then welded back together.
It looks like stainless steel so it'll probably last.

My guess is a Monty muffler with some sort of bracket welded to it.
