New addition
My wife's only flaw is that she hates riding in the 930. I decided to appease her and commit heresy by adding a 2010 997.2 cab to the garage. Don't tell anyone, but I love it. Don't dis a water-pumper till you have a chance to thrash around in one. The modern suspension and transmission are amazing. But, it's still not a 930 and will NOT take over DD duty.

Nice stable you have there. I am in the same position as you wife refused to get in the 930 ever. After much persuasion I talked her into taking a ride in it to the interior shop to pick out a new interior color. She was sitting in back because my son was with us and he is 6'4". Of course we get hit in the back by some idiot and now she will never get in the car again. So as you I wanted to enjoy the Porsche experience with my wife and I am now considering buying a new 911 for us to enjoy together. But I will never give up the 930.

Very nice
Congrats. |
mercedes wagon in the garage?

What you have there looks OK to me. Does your wife not get in the 930 because of the car? Or the way you drive the car.

Thanks guys.
T77: that's an Acura MDX. We went to the other side of the other ocean for our fair weather cars. I have a Lexus GS AWD F-Sport behind the closed door. I drove it side by side with an E-class and 535 on 3 different auto cross tracks one day and liked it the best. Oil: probably a bit of both, but mainly the noise and comfort. You know, the two best traits of a 930. Plus the smell of course. |
I was lucky, Jenn experienced the track oriented '72 coupe first, so she thinks the 930 is a very civilized luxury car.
Well chosen collection. 996 and 997 variants, like all 911s, are great cars. |
