Need help identifying this 930 transmission
 

I recently acquired a package of cars and parts that included a 930 transmission. Unfortunately, the serial number is not legible on the boss. Both output shafts rotate in the same direction when you turn one, so I believe this means the trans has a limited slip. There are some numbers stamped on the case and nose piece, which look like a date code to me as well (34/87 and 36/87). If anyone can help decipher what I've got here, it would be appreciated. Regular 930 four speed - long bell housing (LSD likely as you detect). They were all the same from 78 through 88. Those do look like date codes.

Perhaps post one more picture of the inside of the bell housing perimeter which will help determine later production.

The inside of the bell housing displays that it's 1986-88 based on the fact that the engine mounting studs pass through solid alum (also aligns with your pictured date stamps). Prior to 86 the bell housings were thinner where the studs pass through. (These later units are preferable for shortening to use in 911 chassis otherwise build up welding needs to be done. Note that kit car guys prefer these later units as well due to shortening)

Regarding value, if the condition can't be guaranteed then you would have to arrange something with a buyer if there were issues. Search the classified forum to see values. Perhaps take the side cover off to verify LSD and you can easily inspect the C&P, look for debris, check color and smell of fluid.
