OK...OK...Just because I took a look at a pic of a Miura SV doesn't mean I don't love my 930 Slant Nose. We live in a Condo so I make up an excuse to go down to the garage to sneak a peak every now and again. After I bought my first 930, when we lived in Dallas, I would just stand in the garage, even in a Texas Summer, to just stare at it. If you really want to enhance the effect, do it right after running it. The smell of oil, gas, leather, and Porsche Engine slowly burning up just makes the moment that much better. There is just something special about a 930. |

Just a word of caution. I almost tripped and fell flat on my ass one day as I was stepping bacwards looking at the car after a nice drive. Look behind you first to make sure your route is clear before you back up to stare at the car. JMHO

Just got home from CA with the wife. First a kiss for the kids, then out for a quick peak at the stable. I know, my priorities are backward.

Arrived home early today and The War Department was out doing whatever it she gets to do during the day. Went in through the garage, lingered, ogled, opened the driver's door and treated my olfactory sensors to the bouquet of a Teutonic interior, closed the door, ogled and lingered a bit longer until finally, the leak I'd had to take since before leaving the office would wait no more. Otherwise ...

My wife and I are usually at the Windy Saddle in Golden on Sunday mornings for coffee. I have asked her to move so I can sit with a view of the 930 parked on the street. She laughs a little but really worries a lot at the same time. TG 1986 930 Littleton, Co |
Had mine parked in front of The Saddle just recently. Met a buddy there who drove his `64 Stingray. I'll admit that his car got most of the attention (beautiful maroon convertible), but there were a few who knew what they were looking at, and they were drawn to the 930.

Thought I'd share the view into my small garage.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1382810056.jpg

Just saw this pic of my car posted after a local PCA event. Reminded me how much I love the 930.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1382811289.jpg Between the 930 and the MGA, I love going out to the garage. I installed a ton of fluorescent lighting over the summer, and I love the way the light plays with the curves of my two "girls". |

rock
Yep, our 930's sure rock and probably the most under valued car out there today

My daily driver. A "maestro", aka Harry Pellow massaged and motivated ultimate Q ship. They just assume its an old car. Which it almost is. |

Guilty as well... She's always in sight when I'm working on the "other" car... Right now she's got my attention for some well deserved maintenance!
