Question Is this stock?

Taking the back bits off in readiness to buy/install a factory rear for my 77 930 and this long bit of steel was under the bumper, some sort of heat shield but it looks like it was cut with a rough hacksaw to shape

Is it stock or does it go with the 964 rear bumper i took off?

Or do i keep it for the factory bumper, anyone know? see pic

Edit;
under this was a bumper bar holder with foil insulation which i understood to be the factory heat shield..

I think someone at Porsche would cut their arm off before letting something so poorly crafted be installed on their cars.

Possible yes...probable, I don't believe so.

Exclamation

Agree, i think one of the previous owners had some strange ideas with the car,

To put a CAB ROOF on a classic 930 wtf?
It was a popular but stupid mod (my opinion) in oz in the nineties i think,
When i first got it at first glance i thought there wouldnt be too much work getting it to stock apart from the roof, which is costing me an arm and a leg
Theres all sorts of mods on ie; when converted to cab they put a strip of steel under each rear fender approx 10 inches wide and 5 feet long from rear of car to just before the doors (BOTH SIDES OF CAR), supposedely to strengthen the car for the chopped roof..
I just found them last night they were hidden/camoufalaged? under an inch of rubber sealant..

Not nice at least its getting a full strip down and these and other changes will be removed back to how it was originally.

Heres a pic to give you an idea of whats involved
Ive sprayed some of the affected area so i can follow it..

Its quite long and wide,
Im assuming/hoping the panel underneath is ok, im going to have to learn how to weld and try to remove it.
Ive found no rust and ive looked carefully at the panel where it joins normally under the strip and there seems to be no sign of damage (so far)
