Paint code
 

My car is a 930 my 78, the color is black but the code on the metal plate near the left door is 227-9-2.Anybody is able to show me what kind of green is it?

Paint code 227 corresponds to jade Green, but it was last offered in MY1975.

That (227 ) would be a really nice color on a 930

The first number in the color code usually corresponds to the main color shade (2=Green). Eg., (2)27 Jade Green; Dunno if it would show up as a paint-to-sample since it wasn't offered in '78.

Yes I wanna see this Jade Green 930...

There were a lot of funky Special Wishes colors - why not Jade Green?

The color i can see under the black paint it does'nt look like jade green. I will post a picture of the plate and the color. I think under the dashboard is still visible.
