Desirable color combinations
This car has it... I invite posts of color combinations.
1989 930 Slant Nose Light Blue Metallic/grey leather 18,101 miles | Sloancars |
looks like the interior is actually linen same as mine. My fave color for interior it's a beautiful car. Wonder what they are wanting for it.

I always thought linen like sheets and stuff is white but i don't know... Mine has porsche's interior linen color too but it's a real light grey. Seems more like dirty linen in need of a wash if anything.
It looks nice with the blue exterior but it looks more like a chick color to me and I like the cork interior color better. |
I like mine. GP White over Can Can Red with deviating black carpets.

Color combo is nice!!! Love the red interior! My car is a paint to sample Garnet Red Metallic. I've seen a few 930's in this color. My interior is all-black now (originally two-tone black and champagne). I get a lot of compliments on the color as it's not your normal color. That is an AWESOME color! I really like that. I think finding the oddball colors is so much fun. It really makes for great conversation pieces with fellow enthusiasts! I was recently visiting my local Porsche dealer where I was getting my car aligned. I saw this little beauty sitting in the corner and snapped a picture. I liked the color of this one although I don't recognize it: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1384465730.jpg |

Fall 1987 Lubbock Texas dealer ave q if I recall. My wife was getting her masters and went to 2 classes back to back and we would take the 930 down the 180 miles several times per month. I swing by the dealership to hang kill time and check out their inventory. I walked into the showroom and there is the new re-introduced turbo in that color. The salesman who didn't know me was telling how this was a special color. I said I thought they had that color in 76. Oh no, no way, I then pointed to mine out in the lot same color:) I was the 3rd owner of the car. As a Euro in the mid 80's a person could get a 1 time exemption and a banker in Dallas imported it drove it for a few weeks in a Dallas summer and decided to sell it. Full black leather but in an earlier life the leather had been a rather peculiar mustard. It had been redied but I kept a bottle of black shoe polish to touch it up. Amazingly over the years the interior is still 8/10. |
Nice color. Off topic: Where is the rear bumper comming from?
