Hot turbos

For me, the turbos have always been hot and I have been wanting one for years. Should have bought one yrs ago but, as the saying goes, the ox is slow but the earth is patient....

They must be, because today someone drove by my house and stopped to chat with Mrs. Noah when he saw the 930 in the garage. He was interested in purchasing it. Maybe a month ago the same thing happened to me while I was working in the garage. In 8 years of ownership only once has anyone asked me if I was interested in selling the car, and now twice in the past month.

I was surprised at how hot the market is.

I think we have reached an inflection point and the curve is bending up steeply from this point forward.

My son charts response from the ads generated thru Google to my website ( Voiture Ltd ). It was very high two yeares ago then slumped till 4-5 months ago then the curve went even higher than before. We decided to discontinue those ads as most of the inquiries were from beginner lookers. Some school needs to offer a 930 course #101 ( not me ). Pelican is a good pace to learn a lot.

I think last spring when the 3.6 market went crazy, all other turbos rode the wave. There were very few 3.6 turbos produced it will be interesting to see if the much more highly produced and imported 930s can sustain. I suspect good cars will continue to climb, mediocre or poor cars may flatten or drop a bit.
