D Day...and I thought my CAR was old!
4 hours and 50 minutes from now, I will have surpassed my car's age by 34 years. Just another day, but somewhat of a milestone. I hope my pistons and (heart) valves continue in fine working order, so I can maintain full boost. The 930 and I....we'll see decades more fun as time rolls on.
Hope y'all have the fortune to age gracefully and don't forsake your 930's for some flash-in-the-pan wanna be. Maybe it's just living with past attractions, but Porsche gets under our skin early on and then we graduate to the finest machine ever made. What a better way to round out the finer years.

Remember when 60 sounded old? Of course, being but a wee bairn of 56, it still does to me.
Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday. I hope to hit the big 60 in June myself. by then I will have had the old 76 for 29 years and she'll be pushing 40 years herself. And she is a tight old girl that still loves to be rode hard.

Happy B-day ,and I am grateful that my 930's previous owner had one of those moments and decided he needed one of those hundred thousand dollar Nissan's.

Gentlemen, thanks much! Age is just a relative thing (i.e., I have relatives my age).
Ronnie, thanks for affirming that I can now add "Old Coot" to my repertoire. Or better yet "Gimpy Old Coot" (Cole, only you would have a collection of old hobo shoes, probably left over when you were jumping freight trains in Idaho and chasing anything wearing a set of Paul's bewbz). The rest of you guys, I promise to enjoy this momentous day (currently working on a Tregar-cooked BBQ chicken enchilada courtesy of the folks I work with), then leaving work early to see my dentist (I know, who in their right mind would schedule a dentist visit on his birthday). I never claimed to be in my right mind anyway. And Paul - about them hooters....hmmm, being the unattached man that I am, I could get attached to a pair quickly but they have to be correct mamories of the correct mamalian species. Hairless is always a good start.

Happy B-day Mark. I only have a few more years myself to hit that milestone.
But I have only one regret with this thread. That pic above is stuck in my head and I need a drill to get it out. I will try this tonite and hopefully be good by the morning! (LOL)

Happy birthday Mark. After enjoying your posts for a couple of years now, I almost feel like I know you. I turned the big 60 in 2007 and still see myself as a twenty something. You only get old if you allow yourself to. I'm planning on a major cross country trip next summer so maybe we can meet and I can see that white beauty of yours in person.

Let me add my belated birthday greetings.
I attained the dreaded 6-0 two weeks earlier. Hope it was as painless for you as it was for me. Age is only a number.

HAPPY B'DAY to you too, Paul. And yep, it is just another day....another number on the chalk board of life. It's a nice even number, though, divisible by 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and of course 60. Next year, it'll be a prime number...whatever that means.
