Does this steering wheel fit my 930?

Hi guy's,

Found an interesting offer of a new 3 spoke steering wheel.
That guy bought it before buying a 911 many years ago. Payed 750€ (+- 1000usd)
And it's for sale for 1/3 of the price. To be sure if it fits my 77 3.3 he gave me some numbers stamped on the steering wheel. anyone?

Nice wheel... Depending on price it would be worth the purchase alone based on its condition. If it doesn't fit you can likely recover your money.

Im not sure, I only recognized it since VW folks used to put these in their cars.

The difference between a 924/944 wheel and and a 911/930 wheels is the hub is different. IIRC, the hub is smaller on the 924/944. I bought a really nice brown wheel for my SC a few years ago and the seller said it was for a 911. When it got here, it didn't fit as the hubs were different sizes. I still have the wheel.

Now, if it is a 911 three spoke wheel, there are at least two different versions. One of them has a much thicker grip.

Looks just like all the steering wheels in the early 930s I have seen. Wow, really expensive when new. i'll bet a 930 would cost close to 1 million if you bought all the parts to build one from the parts department now.

Bought it anyway so I got it tomorrow!
I post some pictures then. it looks indeed pretty nice so I'm not waiting until another potential buyer takes it ... Lets hope it fits

Yeah crazy if you think about it! I'm wondering what it would cost today if you buy a new one. He will also check it when he bought it new.

Looks like an early wheel for 930. Pictured is my 78 wheel...I recently had mine off and the splines / bore look identical to those in your pics. I think you're safe...and you should probably buy immediately.
