Value 1989 3,3 Turbo engine.
 

Hi,

I have a 3,3 1989 Turbo engine USA model,, service rekord from 1990,,engine have
50,000 mils very well documented,running very nice,, I have the engine in the
car,, planing to do a dyno, compression test and video and the to sell it !

what is the market value ? the engine is 100% stock, still the original heat ex and muffler.

My guess $10k-$11k? It would be good to know if the top end has been off and resealed or what major work has been done.

LA Dismantler had a '86 on their site for $14,000 a few weeks back. It was sold by the time I called.

I have purchased a few parts form LAPD. Prices are usually about 20% - 30% higher than what you would find here on PP. I showed them sales history of the same parts on PP; they replied that they have no intention of competing with "some guy in his garage selling parts". They have the ability to hold parts until they can sell them at a premium price.

I would agree withthe the $10,000-$11,000 estimate depending on condition.
