Feeler 76-77 930 turbo long block
How much is a disassembled 76-77 930 long block worth? It is disassembled besides the bottom end. It has everything except the fan/alternator and shroud cover

Why was it taken apart? What parts need to be replaced? How many miles? What kind of miles?
I am interested depending on price and condition.

I bought mine 4 years ago on ebay in boxes. I paid a crazy low price. No pictures.
I'd say with that case plus the extras you'r looking at $8k?

I doubt anyone is going to pay $8k.. unless they've got the car that it came in and they're doing a complete resto.
Whomever buys it would/will want to do a crank out build and we all have some idea what that leads to and will cost. Based on your description I'm thinking $5,500 - $6500

I'd say more like $4000 to $5000 tops depending on condition of crank and pistons. Any basket case is a different animal than a fully assembled engine.

Most likely buyer is someone looking to build a short stroke 2.8L, naturally aspirated RSR motor. These 3L cases accept the old 66mm crank and 66x95 is 2.8L.

This case is rare and also has use able value like kenikh said. The pistons are also not same and rare as well as the cylinders. For those in need of the engine parts, this one is more expensive because of demand and not as many available. I feel this group of engines is undervalued and will command more soon if not already highly valued.

There was a 3.0 long block in the Pelican classifieds a few weeks back. Either is was really dirty, or had an engine fire. It was listed for $6400. Looked like a few people pmed the seller.
