Will be offering my 1986 930 for sale

After considerable debating I am going to be trimming my "fleet" of cars by 1 (I currently have 3!) and the 930 loses. As much as I love it and it has been a dream to own my area sucks for driving (S. Florida) and I have accumulated less than 300 miles in my ownership of this fine beast.

Will be posted next week as I just need to take pictures of the car.

Basics are:

1986 911 Turbo; 22.5k miles Guards Red, Black
1 owner from 1987-2013 (when I bought it). No paintwork except the car came with boxed rockers and I had to put new ones on.

Car is in incredible condition, the bottom is cleaner than the top. It has a couple of very minor flaws but I am a full disclosure kind of guy and will take many pics of them.

It is modded with a turbo, Borla muffler, Andial fuel enrichment system, Kokelen intercooler, and cams.

The good news is I have all of the original parts and they are in nearly new condition. If people start to hammer at me that it is modded I will remove the parts, sell them and ask the same price.

I am just putting this out there to gauge interest. I will have a full ad next week.

Price: $95k which I think is on the low side of the market. If this proves to be wrong I will adjust.

He's not that far off, mine has 69k, new everything and I've been offered 80 already. I wouldn't sell mine for less than 100k right now. Might get interesting when it eclipses the 991tts $$ wise, could you imagine swapping a 930 1:1 for a 991tts?

As I said, right now there is no post so I am just feeling the market out. There are a lot of cars with a lot more mileage out there for $70k-$90k so I don't think I am far off. I may list it on Bring a Trailer's new auction site. Seems pretty cool.

Regardless, I don't know of too many other lower mileage cars for sale outside of the Marshall Goldman collection and couple of others. And I know if they had my car they would be asking $140k.

I'm in West Palm Beach.
I's nice to know you're in the area too. Someday we should all get together. It's so hot out these days but I guess we're used to it.

I think that is a fair price. Hold out and help us keep driving the market north. Good luck!!

This is a great price then..

No modifications ever, bone stock, original factory paint.

Equal to cars priced much higher..

I am located in Delray Beach just north of Atlantic in Lake Ida. I am adding some pics to this post before I actually list it as I am going away next week and won't be able to answer many inquiries. I lost the owners manual to my camera and I am having trouble figuring out how to take pics under cloudy conditions. Anyway, here are just a few of the outside, inside, undercarriage, and couple of parts so you can see the overall condition of the car. There may be a couple of different pics at Rennlist. But when I officially list it there will be ton.

lose that steering wheel asap! Red Porsches are tougher to sell(more supply), I think selling price will be in mid 90s. If it were black/white/silver etc..$110k all day. Looks like a very clean car, love the stock radio. GLWS

Your car is in excellent condition... almost looks new in some pics. If you resprayed the turbo drip tank with some black engine enamel it would look as nice as everything else under there.
I looked at the exif data of your camera setings and you have it in manual white balance on the cloudy day setting. Depending on the ambient and reflected light sometimes that will make the pictures too warm or amber colored and leaving it on auto white balance will make nicer color.

I think this is a lovely car. I think it will bring the money. you know you have a very, very fine example and I would encourage any prospective buyer to look at pothers first...then come back to you. see to it that they conduct the proper due dili and your car will appeal to the discriminating buyer that is heeled enough to afford a great car.

I disagree w/ the guards red comment. guards red when detailed and fresh looks astounding and is among the best sports car colors ever created.

this is a great car!!!

A time capsule from the eighties

Looks like new.

Steering wheel is out of place, as already pointed out. With these cars, you just expect to see the 4-spoke wheel. Then it will look correct also from interior.

Have had some P-car steering wheels stored, and it seems the leather quite easily scratches and scuffs being out of car. Safest when they are in the car

Stunning car. A guy on the campsite I was staying at for this years Le Mans 24hr had a very similar spec car to yours, except without the preferable black interior (his was white with black carpets, iirc)....have to confess to drooling; we ended up in convoy going through Le Mans central to the north side of the city, it looked SO right. Guards Red all day long for me.
