The Old Coot? anyone?

Evening, friends-

Has anyone heard from our dear Old Man Cole lately?

He's been off the radar here for quite some time.

I just tried his cell... out of service.

Please tell me someone's heard from him recently???

I emailed him via the forum here, really hoping for a reply. No "green light" icon on his user screen so he's not online.

Dave had reached out to me in April, we had a great time talking... but, he'd asked me of something then that got me thinking today that he's been pretty quiet so I called him.

His cell not working has got me a bit concerned...

Now that's cosmic ("cosmic", not "Kozmo") - was just thinking the same thing yesterday and wondering how his annual, Mayo Clinic pilgrimage went this year. Paul, are you doing some voodoo up thar?!

I talked to him a few days ago. I know he's real busy with coordinating work being done on his house. I have both his numbers but it's almost 10 right now and even though I know he stays up late I don't feel good about calling people this late.
I'll check in with him tomorrow.
Watch who logs in tonight you may see his name there later.

There would have been a serious disturbance in the Force. All the turbos would have started puking oil cause you know he put a curse on every little ball bearing and scavenge pump drive pin that he's sent to all of us.

It does an old coot's junk heart good to know that such a distinguished bunch
of motley misfits are thinking of him.

Been doing a lot of swinging and ducking the last few months, I seem to be
getting hit a lot but I'm in my outlast them mode now and have the sweet oil
handy if I need it.

If anyone wants to reach me my home phone is 260-925-0219. If
you want to say hi, need something, or just need someones shoes
to piss on just give me a call.

Due to my total lack of social or political correctness my wife doesn't allow me
to leave the house so I'm usually here.

The Old Sled is beautiful but after it's warmed up it smokes more than I do,
and that's pretty bad, bad, bad. Probably the ball bearings or drive pin !!!
Just switched out the line sizes on the oil feed and return lines and added a
retractor to the turbo oil feed inlet. Let the old girl warm up and all seemed
well until an oil return line to the tank blew off and completely soaked every
square inch of my previously detailed engine compartment, just when things
seemed to be going well. Had to get out the sweet oil after that one.

I'll get my grandson to go out with me and take some video and get it
posted so you can see the old girl.

Love all you bums thanks for thinking of the old coot.

Cole

Ah, the venerable old one has resurfaced! Like all of youze, I too have had the Colester in the back of my mind lately - when my mind isn't turned inward as it seems to be lately. Yeah Cole, I would love to see some live video action of your fantastic ride. Sure hope you can get all the damn little gremlins assassinated before too long and hit the streets at full throttle. If not....well....there's always the sweet oil as you say! Wonderful to hear from you again.

Mornin, OLD MAN!

Geesh... appears I flub'd yer phone # when I went to save it that day after we'd last talked. D'oh! Used a "0" instead of a "9" fer the last digi!

Well then, I'm really embarrassed for causing such a ruckus here over what I am THRILLED to learn was absotively nothing.

Veryverysorry, everyone.

Alas... I'm somewhat not sorry - as - I did manage to successfully lure your oldass out of ze woodwork!!! AND provide us with a loooooooooong overrrrrrrrrrrduuuuuuuuuuue Sled Update. Nice!

Which is kindasorta weird, dunno if you followed the closing bits of my project tribulations here? Ended verymuch in the same smokey oily mess, and plennnnnnnnnty of sweetsweet oil! Go figure? So, at the least you were in good stinky messy company?

So, did the restrictor at least solve yer smoking problem? Hmmmm, maybe shoulda installed one of those in yer fugly mug 1000000yrs ago eh? 8-)

Now, back to our demands!!! Vids & pics my friend - VIDS & PICS... STAT!!! And, be *certain* to include at least one selfie, we all need to see that shiit eatin grin of yours inspired by nothing more than the Sled. GET ON IT!!!

headin to the beach w/ the fam right now but will call you in a day or two
