1983 930 turbo hight adjustment
I have a 1983 930 turbo, am trying to adjust the ride height on the rear. I am aware of the functions of eccentric and lock bolt on the spring plate. The problem I am having is trying to get a wrench on the bolts behind of the spring plate, as the clearance is very tight. How do I adjust the eccentric, and lock bolts.Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.

I think there's a real thin special open end wrench that fits in there for that. Maybe pelican has it in the tools section I don't know.

No I don't. I put Weltmeister adjustable spring plate on 7 years ago and sold the original ones.
I bet if you asked that on the 911 technical forum you'd get an answer quickly. The spring plates are the same as the ones on SC's and Carrera's. Tomorrow you could call Elephant Racing and ask them. |

wrench
I just looked up the wrench on Pelican... It has a lifetime guarantee as long as there's no hammer marks on it according to the reviews.

Its a big wrench. Something like 36mm...I don't remember exactly.
I made one myself (not dificult) Unfortunately I can't find it now. As I remember it, it needs to be straight and slim in order to do the job. Put the car on a lift or stands and use a jack to support the suspension while adjusting the springplates.
