87 Tach wiring question
I am putting a tach from an 87 in my 82 930. Basically the main reason is that I am not using the factory boost gauge so I have no need for the 930 tach and have an 87 laying around.
The question that I have is which wire is the tach trigger? I have 2 wires that go to the DME, so one has to be it right? BLK or BLK/VIO

The skinny black violet wire is the tach trigger wire. It's in the 6 pin plug on the CD unit too.
