3 ldz is the stock turbo, not the best performing. I had mine rebuilt about three years ago. At the time you could get a cold side upgrade, the 3ldz cold side was remachined for a k27 impeller. The 3ldz hot side is smaller than a K27 causing it to spin up the bigger cold side faster.
Great upgrade and didn't cost a small fortune, no mods required to the exhaust or brackets either. Your car already has a K27 so the mods have been done. Does your car have stock or aftermarket exhaust? |

I have them both, on the car now runs fine no lag of so to speak.
Just looking out for a spare turbo, if one comes along at a good price. I will go for the same one on the car now stock.

That is the part number for the K27 compressor cover. It doesn't mean much, as it can be machined for several different wheels. You need the number from the metal nameplate. Chances are it does not have one, just a big rectangular spot on the housing where it should be.
